--:, <br />City Engineer Duties and Responsibilities <br />Basic Services: <br />B 1. Give advice to Council, the Service Director, the Mayor, the Planning <br />Commission and other City administration officials on all problems pertaining to <br />engineering, zoning, building, sewers, development and repair of property in the City, <br />including, but not limited to, the streets therein; <br />B2. Attend all Planning Commission meetings and, when requested, Council and <br />committee meetings and conferences; <br />B3. Assist the Assistant City Engineer and Service Director in the day-to-day <br />operations of the Division of Engineering; <br />B4. Deliver to Council periodic reports or reports as requested, on progress of <br />improvements under the charge of the Division of Engineering and specifically oversee <br />the work of the consultants and contractors for the Clague Road Improvement Project and <br />the City Hall Main Entrance Renovation Project; <br />B5. Provide engineering plan reviews for up to two projects per month; <br />B6. Oversee the preparation and updating of all City zoning and street maps and <br />B7. Oversee all engineering work required by and for the City or its officials; <br />Other Services: <br />Ol . Provide plan reviews for the Building Department. <br />02. Traffic engineering; <br />03. Inspection services and <br />04. Detailed design and construction documents. <br />
