Ordinance No. 2006-16 <br />WHEREAS, acting in accordance with the foregoing, and upon the recommendation of <br />the City Engineering Department, it is desire of this Council to adopt regulations to control post- <br />construction storm water quality for new developments in the City of North Olmsted; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That there is hereby created new Chapter 928 of the North Olmsted <br />Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code, entitled "Post-Construction Storm Water <br />Management Regulations," which, as created, shall read in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit A <br />attached to this Ordinance, and is expressly incorporated into this Ordinance as if fully rewritten <br />herein. <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance or resolution, or any part of any ordinance or <br />resolution, that is inconsistent or in conflict with any provision of this Ordinance, shall be, to the <br />extent or any such inconsistency or conflict, repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />for the reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately because of <br />federal regulations that require an effective date in March 2006; and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ ~ ~i ~ O ~ b <br />A <br />ARA L.
