Ch. 947 <br />945.01 MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE. <br />The management and operation of the North Olmsted Community Cabin and the maintenance thereof <br />shall be under the supervision of the Service Director. <br />The Service Director shall designate such employees of the Service Department as may be necessary to <br />assist in the operation of the North Olmsted Community Cabin, including the preparation for the use of the <br />building by groups and organizations, and checking to determine any loss or damage to the building or <br />equipment. <br />The rental and maintenance of the North Olmsted Senior Center shall be under the supervision of the <br />Service Director. The management and operation of the North Olmsted Senior Center shall be under the <br />supervision of the Administrator of the Division of Aging. The Service Director and the Administrator of the <br />Division of Aging shall coordinate their functions (management, operations, maintenance, and rental of facilities) <br />for the successful intended use of these facilities. <br />(Ord. 89-15. Passed 3-21-89.) <br />945.02 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT; DEPOSIT AND REFUND. <br />The Service Director and the Director's Secretary, are authorized to rent the North Olmsted Community <br />Cabin and North Olmsted Senior Center under the terms and conditions set forth in this chapter. All applications <br />for rent shall be in writing signed by a member of the group or organization making application. The application <br />shall be filed with the Director's Secretary, who shall receive, at the time of filing the application, all charges and <br />deposits and shall issue a permit to the group or organization making application, signed by the Service Director <br />and the Director's Secretary. The permit shall be nonassignable and shall be used only by the group or <br />organization receiving the same. Such permit shall be in triplicate, the original of which shall be retained by the <br />Director's Secretary; the first copy shall be delivered to the applicant and the second copy to the Service <br />Department. The Service Department copy shall be delivered to the Department at least twenty-four hours prior <br />to the function for which the permit is issued. Within the period of twenty-four hours after the function for which <br />the permit was issued, the Department shall deliver its copy of the permit to the Director's Secretary, with <br />notations thereon regarding any loss or damage to the building or equipment or furnishings and any other remarks <br />pertinent thereto. The Director's Secretary shall make no refunds of any deposits until receiving the Service <br />Department copy of the permit, and determining the amount to be retained from the deposit. In case of any <br />shortage or damage to equipment or building or furnishings the decision of the Director of Public Service shall be <br />final and a refund based accordingly. The Director's Secretary shall obtain from the applicant a receipt for the <br />amount refunded and note thereon the reasons for deductions, if any, and file the same, together with the <br />application and duplicate permit, in the office of the Service Director. <br />
