No employee shall be eligible for promotion under <br />these provisions until he has satisfactorily completed the required <br />probationary period. <br />TEMPORARY TRANSFERS <br />48. When an employee is temporarily transferred for two (2) <br />hours or more to another classification, he shall receive the <br />higher of his regular rate or the next higher rate of the job to <br />which he is transferred. A temporary transfer shall not exceed <br />thirty (30) working days except: <br />1. To fill a.vacancy caused by an employee being <br />on sick leave or other approved leave of absence; <br />2.
