4. To meet an emergency situation; <br />5. To meet changes in the work load; or <br />6. To accommodate the presence of summer employees. <br />VACATIONS <br />49 . (a) Regular full-time employees shall be granted the <br />following vacation leave with full pay bas ed upon continuous <br />service as follows: <br />One (1) to seven (7) years - Two (2) weeks <br />More than seven (7) but less <br />than fifteen (15) years - Three (3) weeks <br />Fifteen (15) years or more - Four (4) weeks <br />(b) For anniversaries occurring on and after July 19, <br />1977, the following schedule of vacations shall be effective: <br />One (1) to five (5) years, <br />inclusive - Two (2) weeks <br />Six (6) to eleven (11) years <br />inclusive - Three (3) weeks <br />Twelve (12) to nineteen (19) <br />years inclusive - Four (4) weeks <br />Twenty years or more - Five (5) weeks <br />50. An employee shall qualify for vacation leave on his <br />anniversary date and the vacation leave shall be taken by the <br />employee within the calendar year in which it is earned.
