.. ;~ <br />.- *-.. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 77-132 <br />By: Beaty <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF <br />ORDINANCE N0. 77-48 ENTITLED "AN <br />ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION <br />TO BE PAID TO THE BUS DRIVERS OF THE <br />NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 76-142 ENACTED <br />OCTOBER 5, 1976, AND DECLARING AN EMER- <br />GENCY", ENACTED MARCH 15, 1977, AND <br />DECLARII~JG "AN E?~~IE:RGEN'CY, A:S AP~IE?~TDED. <br />WHEREAS, the Council and Administration are constantly <br />monitoring the pay scale of the individuals who work .for <br />the Regional Transit Authority so that the employees of the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line are paid a comparable salary, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, new pay schedules have recently been issued for <br />RTA employees and it is the desire of this Council to establish <br />salaries for the Municipal Bus Line employees which will be <br />equal to those of RTA employees. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section of Ordinance No. 77-48, enacted <br />March 15, 1977, which now reads as follows: <br />"SECTION 1: That the compensation to be paid to the bus drivers <br />of the North Olmsted Lunicipal Bus Line shall be as follows: <br />A. Effective February 1, 1977, and thereafter, <br />1. Full time drivers with less than one year <br />service - $6.39 per hour. <br />2. Full time drivers with more than one year <br />service, which service time was accumulated <br />prior to August 1, 1976 - $7.05 per hour. <br />3. Part time drivers shall be paid in a range <br />of $5.00 to $6.00 per hour. <br />B. Any full time driver hired after August 1, 1976 <br />shall be paid on the following basis: <br />1. First year service, 20°s less top operator <br /> rate - $5.64 per hour. <br />2. Second year service, 15~ less top operator <br /> rate - $5.995 per hour. <br />3. Third year service, 10~ less top operator <br /> rate - $6.345 per hour. <br />4. Fourth year service and thereafter, top <br /> operat or rate - $7.05 pe r hour." <br />be and the same is hereby amended and as amended shall read <br />as follows: <br />"SECTION l: That the compensation to be paid to the bus <br />drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be <br />as follows: <br />
