,, t _ <br />.~ ". <br />AMENDED <br />CITY OF NORTH OLAISTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 77-132 <br />Page 2 <br />A. Effective February 1, 1977, and thereafter <br />1. Full time drivers with less than one year <br />service - $6.39 per hour. <br />2. Full time drivers with more than one year <br />service, which service time was accumulated <br />prior to August 1, 1976 - $7.05 per hour. <br />3. Part time drivers shall be paid in a range <br />of $5.00 to $6.00 per hour. <br />B. Any full time driver hired after August 1, 1976 <br />shall be paid on the following basis: <br />1. First year service, 20~ less top operator <br /> rate - $5.945 per hour. <br />2. Second year service, 15% less top operator <br /> rate - $6.315 per hour. <br />3. Third year service, 10% less top operator <br /> rate - $6.685 per hour. <br />4. Fourth year service and thereafter, top <br /> operat or rate - $7.43. <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T. Effective August 1, 1977 the rates of pay established <br />in Subsections A and B of this Section shall be increased at <br />a rate of $.25 per hour. There is also hereby established a <br />Cost of Living increase which is to be based upon the Con- <br />sumer Price Index for the City of Cleveland as published by <br />the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S.Department of Labor; <br />said cost of living increases shall be a minimum of $ .07 per <br />hour and shall be determined by providing $.O1 per hour for <br />each .5 points increase in the Consumer Price Index. <br />SECTION 2: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 77-48 enacted <br />March 15, 1977 is hereby repealed and any other Ordinances or <br />Resolutions or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions in conflict <br />herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of this Council be and she is <br />hereby directed to forward copies of this Ordinance to the <br />Finance Director, the Service Director and the General Manager <br />of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the <br />continuity of service of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />APPROVED: '~Q /T 7 <br />Ralph E.
