w.....i "M.d~a° CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY: ORDINANCE N0. 77 - /O, ~ i AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR FULL-TIME SECRETARIES AND CLERK ASSISTANTS AND PART-TI1~1E CLERICAL HELP OF ALL DEPARTMENTS FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE EMPLOYEES, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 76-111 ENACTED SEPTEMBER 9, 1976, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all employees, both salaried and hourly, of the City of North Olmsted, and ti~iEREAS, Council has adopted the Organizational Charts for the purpose of identification as to duties performed and remuneration received, and WHEREAS, Council has combined the Secretarial and Clerical positions of all previous departments into one ordinance, and 1'VHEREAS, Council agrees that of these employees shall continue to department head as in the past: the supervision and work assignments be the responsibility of each NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLP.~STED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the compensation for Secretaries shall be paid wit in the range of: $6,020.00 to $11,000.00 Annually $2.89 to $5.29 Per Hour to be determined by the Department Head in the department where the secretary is employed and the Council of the City of North Olmsted, retroactive to January 1, 1977, which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance Bi-Weekly. SECTION Z: That the compensation of Clerical Assistant II shall be paid within the range of: $5,257.00 to $8,753.00 Annually $2.53 to $4.21 Per Hour to be determined by the Department Head in the department where the Clerk is employed and the Council of the City of North Olmsted, retroactive to January 1, 1977, which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance Bi-Weekly. SECTION 3: That the compensation for new employees shall be paid at the rate of $5,408.00 Annually, unless the employee has previous experience which warrants a higher starting wage. SECTION 4: That all full-time Secretaries and Clerical Assistants s all be paid on a salary basis. These shall be payable by the Finance Director Bi-Weekly.
