<br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH <br />ORDINANCE N0. <br />PAGE 2. <br />OLMSTED <br />77 -/Q' <br />SECTION 5: That the Secretarial and clerical help of the City <br />of North Olmsted shall receive, as longevity increments, the sum of <br />$25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any <br />annual salary paid to secretary and clerical help (full-time) at the <br />rate of $25.00 for each and every year said Secretary or Clerical <br />help has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted, and <br />said sum shall be paid on each anniversary date of employment. <br />SECTION 6: That the employees shall not be required to work <br />the following holidays, unless requested to work by their supervisor <br />in an emergency: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; <br />Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; President's Day; the <br />employee's birthday and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 7: That all full-time employees shall be entitled to an <br />annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />1 to 5 years inclusive, of full-time service - Two Weeks Vacation <br />6 to 11 years inclusive, of full-time service - Three Weeks Vacation <br />12 to 19 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Four Weeks Vacation <br />20 Years and over of full-time service - Five Weeks Vacation <br />SECTION 8: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to all Department Heads <br />and the Director of Finance for payment of remuneration, as set forth <br />above, immediately upon its passage. <br />SECTION 9: That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts <br />of ordinances or resolutions, in conflict herewith to the provisions <br />of this Ordinance, especially Ordinance 76-111 Enacted Sepatember <br />9, 1976, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 10: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line <br />due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ,1' <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
