r ~.' <br /> • <br />. <br /> ~.~-, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />ORDINANCE NO . 7 7 - /a~ <br />PAGE 2. <br />SECTION 4: That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, <br />the Income Tax Administrator having completed five (5) years of <br />full-time continuous service as an employee of said department, shall <br />be paid an additional 40 of his base annual salary thereafter until <br />completion of ten (10) years full-time continuous service; after which <br />such employee shall receive 5% of his base annual salary, thereafter <br />until the completion of the fifteenth (15th) year of continuous full- <br />time service; and thereafter 60 of his base annual salary until after <br />the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of continuous full-time <br />service, and during each year of full-time service thereafter he shall <br />receive 7% of his base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 5: That all full-time employees of the Finance Department <br />shall receive the following holidays off, unless requested to work <br />by the Director of Finance in emergencies, and shall receive the regular <br />rate of pay: New Year's day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor <br />Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; President's Day; the employee's <br />birthday; and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 6: That all full-time employees of the Finance <br />Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with <br />the following schedule: <br />1 to 5 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Two Weeks Vacation <br />6 to 11 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Three Weeks Vacation <br />12 to 19 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Four Weeks Vacation <br />20 Years and over of full-time service - Four Weeks Vacation <br />SECTION 7: That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby <br />authorize to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, <br />but only in the event the Director of Finance is absent from the City <br />or on vacation. <br />SECTION 8: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to <br />forward a copy o this Ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately <br />upon its passage. <br />SECTION 9: That all other ordinances or resolutions or parts <br />of ordinances or Resolutions, in conflict herewith to the provisions <br />of this Ordinance, are hereby repealed, especially Ordinance No. 76-114 <br />enacted September 7, 1976. <br />SECTION 10: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it <br />is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into <br />line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ,1-' ~_ <br />ATTEST: <br />~~~ <br />Nora T.
