.~ _, H..~.., .. .. ,_ ~"~" ''~'" Amended CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE 77-105 Page 2 SECTION 4: That retroactive to January 1, 1977 the compensa- tion to be paid to the following employees of the Tastewater Treatment Section of the Public Works Division of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: Superintendent, Wastewater Treatment Plant Class III $10,000.00 to $18,000.00 annually Class IV 11,000.00 to $19,260.00 annually Assistant Superintendent of Operations Class III Plant Operation Foreman Asst Superintendent of Maintenance Asst Superintdendent of Systems Chemist Systems Foreman 8,000.00 to 17,120.00 annually 4.40 to 7.50 per hour 9,500.00 to 17,000.00 annually 10,500.00 to 18,200.00 annually 9,000.00 to 12,200.00 annually 4.40 to 7.54 per hour which salaries and wages shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director o.f Finance . SECTION 5: The normal work week for regular full-time foremen in the Treatment Plant, Collection System and Lift Stations will be forty-one and one-quarter (414) hours of work in five (5) days of eight and one-quarter (84) consecutive hours per day, inclusive of one-quarter (~) hour show-up time which may be allowed at the start of each shift, and exclusive of time allowed for meals during the period starting 12:01 A.D4. .Monday to midnight Sunday. In determining whether a foreman has worked in excess of forty-one and one-quarter (41 ;) hours in any work week, hours on a holiday in which the employee did not work but for which he received pay shall be considered to be hours worked. There shall be no pyramiding of overtime. Effective July 1, 1977 foremen will be paid time and one- half (12) of their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in excess of eight and one-quarter (84) in any one work day and time and one-half (1~) of their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess of forty-one and one-quarter (414) in any one work week. A normal work day shall commence at 6:45 A.M. on one day and end at 6:45 A.M. on the next day for the Plant Operation Foreman. A normal work day shall com- mence at 7:45 A.M. on one day and end at 7:45 A.M. on the next for the Systems Foreman. SECTION 6: All full time employees of the Wastewater Treatment Section of the Public Works Division shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by the Public Works Commissioner in emergencies,, or due to a regular posted work schedule, and shall receive regular rate of pay: New; Year's Day; President`s Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and floating holiday. SECTION 7: All full time employees of the Public [nlorks Division except the Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner and the Secretary to the Superintendent of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, having completed five (5) years of full-time continuous
