# •~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE No. 77-,/Q,,'' <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />service, as employees of said department or having been trans- <br />ferred from some other department by administrative appointment <br />shall be paid an additional 3g of their base annual salary, <br />thereafter until completion of ten (10) years full-time continuous <br />service, after which such employee shall receive 4~ of their <br />base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fif- <br />teenth (15) year of continuous full-time service, after which <br />said employees shall receive 5~ of their base annual salary <br />until completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous <br />full-time service, and thereafter each year of full-time ser- <br />vice thereafter they shall receive 6~ of their base annual <br />salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 8: That the Assistant Superintendent of Maintenance, <br />the Plant Operation Foreman and the Systems Foreman shall be <br />allowed the sum of One Hundred Thirty Dollars ($130.00) per <br />year for the acquisition of, or for the cleaning and maintenance <br />of, uniforms worn by them in the performance of their duties. <br />SECTION 9: That all full-time employees of the Public Works <br />Division shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance <br />with the following schedule: <br />1 to 5 years inclusive of full-time service - two weeks <br />6 to 11 years inclusive of full-time service - three weeks <br />12 to 19 years inclusive of full-time service - four weeks <br />20 years and over of full-time service - five weeks <br />SECTION 10: That all other ordinances or resolutions or parts <br />of ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith, especially <br />Ordinance No. 76-106, enacted September 7, 1976, are hereby <br />repealed with the effective date of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 11: That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to <br />forward a copy of this ordinance to the Department of Public <br />Service, to the Public Works Commissioner, and the Director of <br />Finance in order that the Director of Finance can pay the com- <br />pensation as hereinabove set forth. <br />SECTION 12: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales <br />and bring them into line due to inflation and cost of living in- <br />creases, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : .!'
