# •~ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE No. 77-,/Q,,'' Page 3 service, as employees of said department or having been trans- ferred from some other department by administrative appointment shall be paid an additional 3g of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years full-time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4~ of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fif- teenth (15) year of continuous full-time service, after which said employees shall receive 5~ of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous full-time service, and thereafter each year of full-time ser- vice thereafter they shall receive 6~ of their base annual salary as longevity increments. SECTION 8: That the Assistant Superintendent of Maintenance, the Plant Operation Foreman and the Systems Foreman shall be allowed the sum of One Hundred Thirty Dollars ($130.00) per year for the acquisition of, or for the cleaning and maintenance of, uniforms worn by them in the performance of their duties. SECTION 9: That all full-time employees of the Public Works Division shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: 1 to 5 years inclusive of full-time service - two weeks 6 to 11 years inclusive of full-time service - three weeks 12 to 19 years inclusive of full-time service - four weeks 20 years and over of full-time service - five weeks SECTION 10: That all other ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith, especially Ordinance No. 76-106, enacted September 7, 1976, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this ordinance. SECTION 11: That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward a copy of this ordinance to the Department of Public Service, to the Public Works Commissioner, and the Director of Finance in order that the Director of Finance can pay the com- pensation as hereinabove set forth. SECTION 12: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation and cost of living in- creases, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
