_. _..~. _.. ,.,~~...... a,. <br />~ <br />, <br />, ~.. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 77-,~Q~ <br />By ~ ~~~.~.//,c <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICE AND PROPERTIES <br />SECTION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION OF THE <br />DEPARTMENTS OF PUBLIC SERVICE OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, SETTING FORTH THE PERSONNEL <br />NEEDED AND ESTABLISHING THE REMUNERATION <br />FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID SECTION AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE 76-107, ENACTED ON <br />SEPTEMBER 7, 1976, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,. <br />AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted O~_ganizational Charts <br />for all employees, both salaried and hourly, of the City of <br />North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted the Organizational <br />Chart in order to establish future personnel needs, as the <br />needs of the City of North Olmsted increase due to popula- <br />tion expansion: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I3E IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: 7Chat there is hereby created a Public <br />Works Division which shall be supervised by one (1) Public <br />Works Commissioner who shall report and be answerable directly <br />to the Director of Public Service. The duties of the Public <br />Works Commissioner shall be as determined by the Director <br />of Public Service. He shall supervise one (1) secretary <br />and all other personnel as set forth hereinafter. <br />SECTION 2: That the Public Works Commissioner <br />shall be responsible for all operations in the Public Works <br />Division and all superintendents shall report directly to <br />the Public Works Commissioner. <br />SECTION 3: That the Superintendent of the Public <br />Service and Properties Section shall be in charge of the <br />Service Department, the Vehicle Maintenance Department and <br />the Building Maintenance Department. He shall serve under <br />and report directly to the Public Works Commissioner and the <br />Service Director. <br />SECTION 4: The complement of the Public Service <br />and Properties Section shall include the Service Department, <br />the Vehicle Maintenance Department and the Building Main- <br />tenance Department and shall be as follows: <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION <br />I. Public Works Commissioner <br />A. Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner - one (1) <br />B. Superintendent of Public Service and Properties <br />Section - one (1) <br />1. Service <br />a. Four <br />(1) <br />(2) <br />(3) <br />(4) <br />)epartment <br />(4) Service Foremen <br />Twenty (20) Class A Laborers <br />Twenty-six (26) Laborers classified <br />as B and C <br />One (1) Clerk-Typist <br />Summer and part-time help as needed. <br />
