One (1) Foreman <br />(1) Four (4) mechanics <br />(2) Two (2) mechanics' helpers <br />3. Building Maintenance Department <br />a. One (1) Foreman <br />(1) Six (6) maintenance men <br />SECTION 5: That retroactive to January 1, 1977 <br />the compensation to be paid to the following employees in <br />the Service Department of the Public Works Division shall be <br />as follows: <br />Public Works Commissioner <br />Superintendent of Public <br />Service and Properties <br />Section <br />Vehicle Maintenance Dept. <br />Foreman <br />Service Dept. Foreman <br />$16,000 to $21,500 annually <br />15,500 to 19,260 annually <br />$4.75 to $7.92 per hour <br />4.40 to 7.54 per hour <br />which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of <br />Finance. <br />SECTION 6: The normal work week for regular full- <br />time foremen in the Service Department will be forty-one and <br />one-quarter (414) hours of work in five (5) days of eight and <br />one quarter (84) consecutive hours per day, inclusive of one- <br />quarter (4) hour show-up time which may be allowed at the <br />start of each shift, and exclusive of time allowed for meals <br />during the period starting 12:O1 A.M. MOnday to midnight Sunday. <br />In determining whether a foreman has worked in excess of <br />forty-one and one-quarter (414) hours in any work week, hours <br />on a holiday which the employee did not work but for which <br />he received pay shall be considered to be hours worked. <br />There shall be no pyramiding of overtime. <br />Effective July 1, 1977, foremen will be paid time and <br />one-half (14) of their straight time rates of pay for hours <br />worked in excess of eight and one-quarter (84) in any one <br />work day and time and one-half (12) of their straight time <br />rate of pay for hours worked in excess of forty-one and one- <br />quarter 414) in any one work week. A normal work day shall <br />commence at 7:45 A.M. on one day and end at 7:45 A.M. the <br />next day. <br />SECTION 7: That all full time employees of the Public <br />Works Division shall receive the following holidays off, unless <br />required to work by the Public Works Commissioner in emergencies, <br />and shall receive regular rate of pay: New Year's Day; President's <br />Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; <br />Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 8: All full time employees of the Public <br />Works Division except the Secretary to the Public Works Com- <br />missioner, having completed five (5) years of full-time <br />continuous service as employees of said department, or having <br />
