<br /> <br />• `~' ~ s <br />A ~ r <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 77-~~~ <br />Page 3 <br />~, <br />been transferred from some other department by administra- <br />tive appointment, shall be paid an additional 4~ of their <br />base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) <br />years full time continuous service, after which such employees <br />shall receive 5~ of their base annual salary, thereafter <br />until completion of their fifteenth (15) year of continuous <br />full time service, after which said employees shall receive <br />6% of their base annual salary until completion of their <br />twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service, and <br />thereafter each year of full time service they shall receive <br />7~ of their annual base salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 9: The Service and the Vehicle Maintenance <br />Foremen shall be allowed the sum of One Hundred and Thirty <br />Dollars ($130.00) per year for the acquisition of, or for <br />the cleaning and maintenance of uniforms worn by them in the <br />performance of their duties. <br />SECTION 10: All full-time employees of the Public <br />Works Division shall be entitled to an annual vacation in <br />accordance with the following schedule: <br />1 to 5 years inclusive of full-time service - two weeks <br />6 to 11 years inclusive of full time service - three <br />weeks <br />12 to 19 years inclusive of full time service - <br />four weeks <br />20 years and over of full time service - five weeks <br />SECTION 11: That all other ordinances or resolutions <br />or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith, es- <br />pecially Ordinance No. 76-107 enacted September 7, 1976, are <br />hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 12: That the Clerk of Council is hereby <br />instructed to forward a copy of this ordinance to the Department <br />of Public Service, the Public Works Commissioner and the Director <br />of Finance in order that the Director of Finance can pay the <br />compensation as herein set forth. <br />BECTION 13: That this ordinance is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preserva- <br />tion of the public health, safety, and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is immediately necessary to review all <br />pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation and cost <br />of living increases and further provided that it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed: ,~, .S~ <br />ATTEST: <br />G~ ~~~~ <br />Nora T.
