. _. ~ J' <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />April 19, 1977 <br />I <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE <br />The within Memorandum of Understanding between the City <br />of North Olmsted and the Cuyahoga County Welfare Department will <br />provide for the effective implementation of the Work Relief <br />Program in Cuyahoga County as mandated by the Ohio Department <br />of Public Welfare. The following paragraphs will list- the <br />responsibilities of the respective parties in fulfilling their <br />obligations under said Memorandum of Understanding. Said <br />parties pledge their cooperative efforts towards the successful <br />operation of the Work Relief Program. <br />II <br />RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY WELFARE DEPARTMENT <br />Under this Memorandum of Understanding, the Cuyahoga County <br />Welfare Department shall: <br />1. Provide Employable General Relief workers to the <br />City of North Olmsted as specified by the number <br />of full time positions designated by the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />2. Provide these workers without salary expense to the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />3. Provide Workmen's Compensation coverage to these <br />workers. <br />4. Provide $15.00 per month to each worker for trans- <br />portation.to and from the work site and lunches at <br />the work site. <br /> <br />
