However, under no circum- <br />stances shall there be a pyramiding of overtime. The time <br />worked in Charter Service will be paid at a straight time rate <br />and will not be used in computing overtime pay. It should also <br />be noted that the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be the <br />sole judge of the necessity of overtime and the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line shall determine the manner and method of <br />assigning and offering all overtime work which is consistent <br />with efficient transit practices. <br />b. There is hereby established a work training program <br />within the Municipal Bus Line. Said training period shall not <br />exceed thirty days and any driver who is included within said <br />training program shall be paid at the rate of $18.40 per day. <br />SECTION 3: That there is hereby established longevity <br />benefits for all full time employees of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line which shall be as .follows: <br />a. Effective August 1, 1976 through and including October <br />2, 1976, all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line having completed 5 years of full time continuous service <br />as employees of said bus line or having been transferred from <br />some other department by administrative appointment shall be <br />paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary until they <br />have completed their tenth year of continuous full time service. <br />After completing their tenth year and prior to completion of their <br />fifteenth year of continuous full time service, they shall be <br />paid 4% of their base annual salary. After completion of their <br />fifteenth year of continuous service and prior to completion of <br />their twentieth year of continuous service, they shall be paid <br />5% of their base annual salary. After completion of their <br />twentieth year of continuous service they shall be paid 6% of <br />their base annual salary. These payments shall be longevity <br />increments and shall be paid and computed by the Finance Depart- <br />ment of the City of North Olmsted. <br />In computing length of service for the purpose of making <br />payments of longevity increments as hereinabove set forth, no <br />credit shall be given for part time service, but such limitation <br />is only for the purpose o.f computing longevity increments and <br />the exclusion for part time service shall not deprive any employee <br />of any other benefits which may be due them for part time service <br />as employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />b. Effective October 3, 1976 and thereafter, the following <br />longevity benefits shall be paid to all full time employees <br />except administrative personnel with the first of such payments <br />to be made in December, 1977, subject to the approval of the <br />Regional Transit Authority. <br />1. For all employees who have completed 5 years <br />but less than 10 years of continuous service <br />before December 1 - $300 per year <br />2. For all employees who have completed 10 years <br />but less than 20 years of continuous service <br />before December 1 - $500 per year <br />3. For all employees who have completed 20 years of <br />continuous service or more before December 1 - <br />$700 per year <br />4. The provisions contained in paragraphs 1, 2, <br />and 3 of this Section shall, however, be subject <br />to the following provisions: <br />
