The longevity year shall be based upon Decem- <br />ber 1 to December 1, and in order to be eligible <br />for 100% longevity payment for any year, the <br />employee must have worked or been paid for at <br />least 238 days during the longevity year and <br />also be actively employed on December 1 of the <br />payment year. Furthermore, if the employee <br />works or is paid for less than 238 days in the <br />calendar year and is still actively employed on <br />December 1 o.f the payment year, the longevity <br />payment shall be pro-rated as follows: <br />214-237 days 900 <br />190-213 days 800 <br />166-189 days 700 <br />142-165 days 60~ <br />118-141 days 500 <br />117 days or less Oo <br />ii. However, any employee who retires and receives <br />a pension, or dies, prior to December 1 of the <br />payment year shall still be eligible to receive <br />a longevity payment for that year based upon the <br />pro-ration schedule set forth in Paragraph 4 <br />above. <br />SECTION 4: That there shall be allowed for each bus driver <br />the sum of $100.00 per year for the acquisition of uniforms to <br />be worn while operating a bus for the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line. <br />Upon the appointment of a new driver, he shall be allowed <br />the sum of $110.00 for uniforms and accessories for the first <br />_year of such appointment. Clothing allowance will not be <br />issued to a new driver until 30 full days of employment. <br />If within the probationary period of 1 year, a driver <br />leaves the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, he <br />must reimburse the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line for the <br />amount of money spent from the clothing allowance. <br />SECTION 5.: That all full time bus driving employees of the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to certain <br />holidays during the year and shall not be required to work on <br />these holidays unless scheduled to work by the General .Manager <br />or Superintendent. In the event the employee works on one of <br />the following holidays, the employee shall receive another day <br />o.ff from work to replace the holiday he worked. The scheduled <br />holidays are as follows: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence <br />Day; Labor Day; Thanskgiving Day; Christmas Day; President's <br />Day; and the employee's birthday. <br />SECTION 6: That excluding secretarial and clerical employees <br />in the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, all full time employees <br />of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be furnished at no <br />cost to the employee, accident and health insurance, which insur- <br />ance shall pay the employee, in the event he is unable to work <br />as a result of an accident or ill health, in the sum of $40.00 <br />per week. Said insurance shall also have accident and death <br />benefits with the principal sum of $1,500.00. <br />Effective August 1, 1976, the City of North Olmsted shall <br />pay the full amount, single person's rate, of the hospitalization <br />cost for unmarried full time employees of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line, and in the event any full time employee of <br />the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line is married or is the head <br />of the family, the City of North Olmsted shall pay $1,224.00 <br />toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross <br />and Medical Mutual or the Kaiser Community Health Foundation <br />Plan. <br />
