CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 77- ~, Page 4 SECTION 7: Effective August 1, 1976 the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's rate of the hospitaliza- tion cost for unmarried full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and in the event any full time employee of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line is married or is the head of the family, the City of North Olmsted shall pay $1,224.toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual or the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees in the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be furnished, at no cost for the employees, accident and health insurance, which insurance shall pay the employee in the event he is unable to work as a result of an accident or ill health, the sum of $40.00 per week. Said insurance shall also have accidental death and death benefits with the principal sum of $1,500. SECTION 8: That effective February 1, 1977, all Mechanics who are required by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line to fur- nish a set of tools used in the performance of their work, shall receive an annual allowance of $75.00 for maintenance and replace- ment of such tools. SECTION 9: That Ordinance No. 76-143 is hereby specifically repealed and also any other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 10: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to forward copies of this ordinance to the Finance Director, the Service Director and the General Manager of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. SECTION 11: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the continuity of services of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
