_~I..~..... _.-,_ ..~ _..w ... <br />'~.... <br />Section 7. <br />. a.Y.d' <br />The CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED agrees that it will at all <br />times efficiently and economically maintain and carry on the operation <br />and business of the 'tUtility't . <br />Section 8. The CITY OF WESTLAKE agrees: (a) that the CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED's ENGINEER, or an authorized assistant, shall have the <br />right to enter and inspect the said SubdivisionTs sanitary sewers and <br />flow meter installation during and after the period of construction <br />thereof for the purpose of ascertaining that the requirements as set <br />forth herein are being or have been complied with. (b) That the maximum <br />allowable infiltration in the said Subdivi.sionts sanitary sewers shall <br />not exceed 100 gallons per inch of diameter per mile length per 24 hours' <br />The CITY OF_ NORTH OLMSTEDTs ENGINEER may require infi.,}.tration-tests <br />conforming to American Society of Testing Materials applicable specifi- <br />cations. In the event that the CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED shall ascertain, <br />after a reasonable testing period that the infiltration by the said <br />Subdivision exceeds the limitation herein above specified, the CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED shall thereupon notify the CITY OF WESTLAKE and if such <br />condition shall not have been remedied within three months after such <br />notice has been given, the CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED shall thereupon have <br />the right to increase by one hundred percent (100 the rates and <br />charges provided for herein and to collect such rates and charges at <br />each billing period occurring after the time of making such increase <br />until such condition shall have been remedied. (c) That the CITY OF <br />WESTLAKE shall furnish the CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED reproduced cloth tracir. <br />of the sanitary sewage system of the said Subdivision as they are con- <br />structed or extended from time to time; shall notify the CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTEDTs ENGINEER when the construction of any such sanitary sewers is <br />to be commenced and of any major changes to be made in such sanitary <br />sewers, and shall further notify the CITY OF NORTH OLMSTEDTs ENGINEER <br />whenever any sanitary sewer of the said Subdivision newly constructed is <br />to be tested to determine i.f the sources meet the specifications of the <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED so that an inspector may be present to observe the <br />results of such tests.
