CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 77 -,~v" BY: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 911.03 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ENTITLED "CHARGES GENERALLY" AND AMENDING SECTION 911.05 ENTITLED "METHOD OF BILLING, PAYMENT", BOTH OF CHAPTER 911, ENTITLED "SANITARY SEWERAGE SYSTEM CHARGES"; AND REPEALING SECTIONS 911.08, 911.09 and 911.10 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Section 911.03 entitled "Charges Generally," of Chapter 911 entitled "Sanitary Sewerage System Charges" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, which now reads as follows: "911.03 CHARGES GENERALLY For the purposes provided in Section 911.02 there is hereby levied and charged upon each lot, parcel of land or premises having or required to have a connection with the system, or otherwise discharging sewage, industrial wastes, water or other liquids, either directly or indirectly into the system, sewer charges payable as hereinafter provided and in amounts to be determined as follows: (a) For premises supplied by metered public water supply, the following rates shall apply to be computed on the basis of water consumption as measured by such water meter, to-wit: (1) Until July 31, 1971, $4.75 for the first 1,000 cubic feet or any portion thereof of water consumed per quarter, and at the rate of $4.75 per 1,000 cubic feet of water consumed thereafter, but not less than $4.75 per quarter. (2) From August 1, 1971, to January 31, 1976, $6.95 for the first 1,000 cubic feet or any portion thereof of water consumed per quarter, and at the rate of $6.95 per 1,000 cubic feet of water consumed thereafter, but not less than $6.95 per quarter. (3) From and after February 1, 1976, $7.45 for the first 1,000 cui~ic feet or any portion thereof of water consumed per quarter, and at the rate of $7.45 per 1,000 cubic feet of water consumed thereafter, but not less than $7.45 per quarter. In addition thereto, there shall be paid the quarterly billing charge made by the City of Cleveland Water Department for billing and collecting the aforesaid sewer charges to premises supplied by metered public water supply. For late payments beyond the due date of such billings, such rates shall be increased $.25 per quarter as a penalty for late payment.
