CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 77 -/O <br />PAGE 2. <br />(b) For premises supplied other than by metered public water <br />supply, there shall be charged the following flat monthly <br />rates: <br />(1) Until July 31, 1971, $5.79 per month provided that <br />for prompt payment of such billing,-when due, by the <br />City of North Olmsted, such rate shall be reduced <br />to $5.71 per month. <br />(2) From August 1, 1971 to January 31, 1975, $8.47 per <br />month provided that for prompt payment of such billing, <br />when due, by the City of North Olmsted, such rate shall <br />be reduced to $8.35 per month. <br />(3) From and after February 1, 1975, $9.08 per month <br />provided that for prompt payment of such billing, when <br />due, by the City of North Olmsted, such rate shall be <br />reduced to $8.95 per month. <br />(c) The rates to be charged to users whose premises are located <br />outside the City limits, other than political subdivisions <br />having special service contracts with the City of North <br />Olmsted, shall be negotiated by the Mayor and/or the Director <br />of Public Service and approved by Council. Any such user <br />shall first obtain the approval of the Director of Public <br />Service before making connections to the system and conform <br />to such requirements as may be prescribed in the regulations <br />prescribed by such Director. <br />(d) In the event it can be shown to the satisfaction of the <br />Director of Public Service, with respect to any premises, <br />that a portion of the water derived from metered public water <br />supply consumed on such premises does not and cannot enter <br />the system, then in each such case, the owner or other <br />interested party may, at his expense, install such metering <br />devices as to demonstrate to the satisfaction of such <br />Director the portion of the water so supplied and consumed <br />on the premises determining the sewer charge under subsection <br />(a) hereof. <br />(e) No free service of any kind shall be rendered to any user <br />unless it shall be brought to the attention of Council or <br />the Finance Director that the City of Cleveland Water Depart- <br />ment has had an adjustment in the water charge to a consumer, <br />at which time the Finance Director is hereby authorized to <br />make an adjustment in the sewer revenue charge not to exceed <br />One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per premises served by the North <br />Olmsted Sanitary Sewer System." <br />shall be amended and as amended shall read as follows: <br />"911.03 CHARGES GENERALLY <br />For the purposes provided in Section 911.02 there is hereby levied <br />and charged upon each lot, parcel of land or premises having or required <br />to have a connection with the system, or otherwise discharging sewage, <br />industrial wastes, water or other liquids, either directly or <br />indirectly into the system, sewer charges payable as hereinafter provided <br />and in amounts to be determined as follows: <br />~...~ k_. _ ~ ~_~~ ..~ w~ . .,.~ <br />
