CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 77 -/O PAGE 2. (b) For premises supplied other than by metered public water supply, there shall be charged the following flat monthly rates: (1) Until July 31, 1971, $5.79 per month provided that for prompt payment of such billing,-when due, by the City of North Olmsted, such rate shall be reduced to $5.71 per month. (2) From August 1, 1971 to January 31, 1975, $8.47 per month provided that for prompt payment of such billing, when due, by the City of North Olmsted, such rate shall be reduced to $8.35 per month. (3) From and after February 1, 1975, $9.08 per month provided that for prompt payment of such billing, when due, by the City of North Olmsted, such rate shall be reduced to $8.95 per month. (c) The rates to be charged to users whose premises are located outside the City limits, other than political subdivisions having special service contracts with the City of North Olmsted, shall be negotiated by the Mayor and/or the Director of Public Service and approved by Council. Any such user shall first obtain the approval of the Director of Public Service before making connections to the system and conform to such requirements as may be prescribed in the regulations prescribed by such Director. (d) In the event it can be shown to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Service, with respect to any premises, that a portion of the water derived from metered public water supply consumed on such premises does not and cannot enter the system, then in each such case, the owner or other interested party may, at his expense, install such metering devices as to demonstrate to the satisfaction of such Director the portion of the water so supplied and consumed on the premises determining the sewer charge under subsection (a) hereof. (e) No free service of any kind shall be rendered to any user unless it shall be brought to the attention of Council or the Finance Director that the City of Cleveland Water Depart- ment has had an adjustment in the water charge to a consumer, at which time the Finance Director is hereby authorized to make an adjustment in the sewer revenue charge not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per premises served by the North Olmsted Sanitary Sewer System." shall be amended and as amended shall read as follows: "911.03 CHARGES GENERALLY For the purposes provided in Section 911.02 there is hereby levied and charged upon each lot, parcel of land or premises having or required to have a connection with the system, or otherwise discharging sewage, industrial wastes, water or other liquids, either directly or indirectly into the system, sewer charges payable as hereinafter provided and in amounts to be determined as follows: ~...~ k_. _ ~ ~_~~ ..~ w~ . .,.~
