.~ <br />. ~- ;. ,„~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO . 7 7 -,Z, <br />PAGE 3. <br />(a) For premises supplied by metered public water supply, <br />the following rates shall apply to be computed on the <br />basis of water conss.umption as measured by such water <br />meter, to-wit: <br />(1) From August 1, 1971 to January 31, 1976, $6..95 for <br />the first 1,000 cubic feet or any portion thereof of <br />water consumed per quarter, and at the rate of <br />$6.95 per 1,000 cubic feet of water consumed thereafter, <br />but not less than $6.95 per quarter. <br />(2) From February 1, 1976 to January 31, 1977, $7.45 <br />for the first 1,000 cubic feet or any portion thereof <br />of water consumed per quarter, and at the rate of <br />$7.45 per 1,000 cubic feet of water consumed there- <br />after, but not less than $7.45 per quarter. <br />(3) From and After February 1, 1977, $11.92 for the first <br />1,000 cubic feet or any portion thereof of water <br />consumed per quarter, and at the rate of $11.92 per <br />1,000 cubic feet of water consumed thereafter, but <br />not less than $11.92 per quarter. <br />In addition thereto, there shall be paid the quarterly billing <br />charge made by the City of Cleveland Water Department for billing <br />and collecting the aforesaid sewer charges to premises supplied <br />by metered public water supply. For late payments beyond the <br />due date of such billings such rates shall be increased $.25 per <br />quarter as a penalty for late payment. <br />(b) For premises supplied other than by metered public water <br />supply, there shall be charged the following flat monthly <br />rates <br />(1) From February 1, 1975 to January 31, 1977, $9.08 <br />per month provided that for prompt payment of such <br />billing, by the City of North Olmsted, such rate <br />shall be reduced to $8.95 per month. <br />(2) From and after February 1, 1977, $14.53 per month <br />provided that for prompt payment of such billing, by <br />the City of North Olmsted, such rate shall be <br />reduced to $14.32 per month. <br />(c) The rates to be charged to users whose premises are located <br />outside the City limits, other than political subdivisions <br />having special service contracts with the City of North <br />Olmsted, shall be negotiated by the Mayor and/or the <br />Director of Public Service and approved by the Council. <br />Any such user shall first obtain the approval of the <br />Director of Public Service before making connections to <br />the system and conform to such requirements as may be <br />prescribed in the regulations prescribed by such Director. <br />(d) In the event it can be shown to the satisfaction of the <br />Director of Public Service, with respect to any premises, <br />that a portion of the water derived from metered public <br />water supply consumed on such premises does not and cannot <br />enter the system, then in each such case the owner or other <br />interested party may, at his expense, install such metering <br />devices as to demonstrate to the satisfaction of such <br />Director the portion of the water so supplied and consumed <br />on the premises determining the sewer charge under sub- <br />section (a) hereof. <br />
