.? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 79- 139 <br />PAGE 2. <br />(b) A preliminary map and vicinity map shall show <br />the type of zoning of areas contiguous to the land to <br />be platted. Said preliminary map and vicinity map shall <br />cantain the following informatian: <br />(1) A certification showing that the preliminary <br />map was prepared by a land surveyor registered in <br />Ohio. <br />(2) The preliminary map shall be accurately <br />drawn on tracing paper or better material to the <br />scale of one inch (1") equals one hundred feet <br />(1001) unless waived by the City Engineer. Dimensions <br />from the County Auditor's map may be used. <br />(3) The preliminary plans shall show all <br />existing streets forming the periphery of land <br />to be developed; the street and lot layout for <br />the area to be developed; the existing and proposed <br />location of drainage ditches; the existing structures <br />on the parcel to be subdivided; the existing structures <br />on properties immediately adjacent and within twenty <br />(20)feet of the boundary line; and the location <br />and description of plugged, capped or active gas wells, <br />within the subdivision and within one hundred feet <br />(100') of the boundaries of the proposed subdivision. <br />(4) The vicinity map shall show the location of <br />all periferal streets and subdivisions within approx- <br />imately one (1) mile of the land to be developed and <br />showing the proposed subdivision and proposed streets <br />shall be drawn on the preliminary map, or the proposed <br />subdivision shall be drawn on a copy of the City Zone <br />Map and submitted along with the preliminary map. <br />(5) The City shall be provided with six (6) copies <br />of the Preliminary Map and one (1) copy of the Vicinity <br />P1an. The North Olmsted Board of Education shall be <br />provided with one (1) copy of the Preliminary Plan. <br />(c) A topographie map shall be prepared by a Land <br />Surveyor registered in Ohio. Said topographic map sha11 <br />contain the following: <br />(1) It shall be accurately drawn on tracing paper <br />or better material to a scale of one inch (111) eauals <br />fifty feet (501) with a contour interval of one foot <br />(11) unless waived by the City Engineer. The elevations <br />shall conform to sea level elevations established by <br />the Cleveland Regional Geodetic Survey. The Geodetic <br />Bench Mark used shall be indicated thereon. <br />(2) The topographic map shall show the location of <br />houses on the lots, finished ground elevation at the <br />house and lot corners, existing improvements on adjoin- <br />ing streets and proposed block and lot drainage. <br />(3) The City of North Olmsted shall be provided <br />with at least theee (3) copies of the topographic map.
