CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 79-139 <br />PAGE 6. <br />(b) The filing of the final plat for recording <br />witli the Cuyahoba County Recorder shall be done by the City <br />Engineer who shall turn sai.d plat over to a reputable title <br />insurance company aiid request a"Statement ori Streets" for <br />the benefit of the City of North Olmsted and when said <br />"Staternent on Streets" is finisned the cngineer shall order <br />the plat to be recorded. All costs charged for the "Statement <br />on Streets" and recording shall be paid for by the developer. <br />(c) Deposits for review of plans, topographic and <br />prelimiiiary maps and every document rec{uired by the City <br />of North Olmsted and for the recording of subdivision plats, <br />easernents, etc. shall be as follows: <br />For single family residential subdivisions <br />(A, B, or C Zoning Districts) <br />6 to 10 lots $150.00 <br />11 to 50 lots $200.00 <br />51 to 100 lots $300.00 <br />101 to 200 lots $400.00 <br />201 lots and up $500.00 <br />A11 other subdivision reQuests - $100.00 <br />The followirig special deposits are required for: <br />Rezoriing requests $200.00 <br />Each Mixed Use requests $200.00 <br />1000.06 DEPOSIT FOR INSPECTION OF MAJOR SUBDIVISION <br />The developer's engineer shall furnish an itemized <br />estimate of the cost of construction of all reQuired improvements <br />for the approval of the City Engineer. When the estimate is <br />approved by the City Engineer, $1,000 or 4% of the approved <br />estimate, whichever is greater, shall be deposited by the <br />developer with the City for inspection and testing before <br />Council approval. <br />The cost of inspection shall be calculated on the basis <br />of $20.00 for each hour spent by the City F.ngineer's Office <br />for inspection and $30.00 for each hour spent by the City <br />Engineer and Assistant City Engineer. <br />If the deposit is more than the actual cost, the remainder <br />shall be refunded. If the cost of inspection is greater than <br />the deposit the deficient amount shall be paid to the City <br />by the developer before construction is permitted to continue. <br />1000.07 PROCEDURE FOR MINOR SIJBDIVISION <br />(a) Application. A sketch plan complying with the <br />requirements s? -Section .08 shall be prepared for <br />each minor subdivision and an anplication for approval sub- <br />mitted to the office of the City Engineer not less than <br />twelve (12) days prior to the next regularly scheduled meeting <br />of the Planning Commission. The purposesof a sketch plari <br />layout are to furnish sufficient information to determine <br />if it c{ualifies as a minor subdivision, its relation to <br />adjacent subdivisions and compliance with other City codes. <br />(b) Review by City Engineer. The developer shall <br />submit either a metes an hounds deed description or nlat, <br />as required, to the City Eiigiiieez° for• review and, if it is <br />found to conform to the approved sketch plan and is otherwise <br />satisfactory, the City Engineer sha11 so ce7•tify the approval <br />thereon within severr working days after such receipt.
