That the owners of the lots and lands set forth in Exhibit A to this <br />resolution shall repair and replace, in accordance with the plans and specifications now <br />on file, the sidewalks so described which abut on their respective properties by June 1, <br />1977, and, if such repair and replacement shall not be completed by that date, the City of North <br />Olmsted will repair and replace said sidewalks and the entire cost thereof shall be assessed <br />upon the property of each defaulting owner and made a lien thereon, to be collected in five <br />annual installments as provided by law. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of this Council is directed to cause a written notice <br />of the adoption of this resolution to be served on each affected property owner as required <br />by law. <br />Section 4. That the plans, specifications, and estimate of cost for said side- <br />walk construction, as heretofore filed, are hereby approved. <br />Section 5. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety by virtue <br />of the need for the immediate construction of such sidewalks to permit safe passage by <br />persons using said streets and to eliminate existing hazards to pedestrians; wherefore, <br />this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and immediately after its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED , 197 <br />ATTES <br />Nora T.
