~, <br />.~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 76-142 <br />Page 4 <br />If within the probationary period of 1 year, a driver leaves <br />the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, he must <br />reimburse the North Olmsted Municpal Bus Line _f or the amount of <br />money spent from the clothing allowance. <br />SECTION 5: That all full time bus driving employees of the <br />Nort~'b~mstec~Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to certain <br />holidays during the year and shall not be required to work on these <br />holidays unless scheduled to work by the General Manager or Super- <br />intendent. In the event the employee works on one of the following <br />holidays, the employee shall receive another day of_f from~ork to replace <br />the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays are as follows: <br />New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day, Thanksgiving <br />Day; Christmas Day; President's Day; and the employee's birthday. <br />SECTION 6: That excluding secretarial and clerical employees <br />in tie ort Amsted Municipal Bus Line, all full time employees <br />of the North. Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be furnished at no <br />cost to the employee, accident and health insurance, which insurance <br />shall pay the employee, in the event he is unable to work as a <br />result of an accident or ill health, in the sum of $40.00 per week. <br />Said insurance shall also have accident and death benefits with <br />the principal sum of $1,500.00. <br />Effective August 1, 1976, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the <br />full amount, single person's rate, of the hospitalization cost <br />for unmarried full time employeees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line, and in the event any .full time employee of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line is married or is the head of the family, the City <br />of North Olmsted shall pay $1,224.00 toward the cost of a family <br />hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual or the Kaiser <br />Community Health Foundation Plan. <br />SECTION 7: That all full time bus driving employees of the <br />Nort mstec'f Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual <br />vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />a. Two weeks vacation after one year continuous service <br />b. Three weeks vacation after seven years continuous service <br />c. Four weeks vacation after .f.ifteen years continuous service <br />SECTION 8; That Ordinance No, 76-94 and Ordinance No. 64-97 <br />are he~eUy specifically repealed and also any other ordinances or <br />parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 9: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed <br />to forwarcT copies of this ordinance to the Finance Director, the Service <br />Director and the General Manager of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus <br />Line. <br />SECTION 10: That there is hereby created a seniority system <br />where y tie river having the most seniority shall have the first <br />choice of runs and this order shall be followed until all runs <br />have been chosen after which any runs which are still not chosen <br />for any particular day shall be assigned to the first extra man <br />from the bottom of the seniority list. Drivers shall have the <br />right to make the selection of their runs in accordance with their <br />seniority standing as provided above with the exception of emergency <br />
