~, .~ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 76-142 Page 4 If within the probationary period of 1 year, a driver leaves the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, he must reimburse the North Olmsted Municpal Bus Line _f or the amount of money spent from the clothing allowance. SECTION 5: That all full time bus driving employees of the Nort~'b~mstec~Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to certain holidays during the year and shall not be required to work on these holidays unless scheduled to work by the General Manager or Super- intendent. In the event the employee works on one of the following holidays, the employee shall receive another day of_f from~ork to replace the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays are as follows: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; President's Day; and the employee's birthday. SECTION 6: That excluding secretarial and clerical employees in tie ort Amsted Municipal Bus Line, all full time employees of the North. Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be furnished at no cost to the employee, accident and health insurance, which insurance shall pay the employee, in the event he is unable to work as a result of an accident or ill health, in the sum of $40.00 per week. Said insurance shall also have accident and death benefits with the principal sum of $1,500.00. Effective August 1, 1976, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employeees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and in the event any .full time employee of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line is married or is the head of the family, the City of North Olmsted shall pay $1,224.00 toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual or the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. SECTION 7: That all full time bus driving employees of the Nort mstec'f Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: a. Two weeks vacation after one year continuous service b. Three weeks vacation after seven years continuous service c. Four weeks vacation after .f.ifteen years continuous service SECTION 8; That Ordinance No, 76-94 and Ordinance No. 64-97 are he~eUy specifically repealed and also any other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 9: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to forwarcT copies of this ordinance to the Finance Director, the Service Director and the General Manager of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. SECTION 10: That there is hereby created a seniority system where y tie river having the most seniority shall have the first choice of runs and this order shall be followed until all runs have been chosen after which any runs which are still not chosen for any particular day shall be assigned to the first extra man from the bottom of the seniority list. Drivers shall have the right to make the selection of their runs in accordance with their seniority standing as provided above with the exception of emergency
