Effective October 3, 1976 and thereafter, the following longevity benefits shall be paid to all full time employees except administrative personnel with the first of such payments to be made in December, 1977: subject to the approval of the Regional Transit Authority: 1. For all employees who have completed 5 years but less than 10 years of continuous service before December 1 - $300 per year 2. For all employees who have completed 10 years but less than 20 years of continuous service before December 1 - $500 per year 3. For all employees who have completed 20 years of continuous service or more before December 1 - $700 per year 4. The provisions contained in paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 of this Section shall, however, be subject to the following provisions: i. The longevity year shall be based upon December 1 to December 1, and in order to be eligible f_or 1000 longevity payment for any year, the employee must have worked or been paid for at least 238 days during the longevity year and also be actively employed on December 1 of the payment year. Furthermore, if the employee works or is paid _for less than 238 days in the calendar year and is still actively employed on December 1 of the payment year, the longevity payment shall be pro-rated as follows: 214-237 days 900 190-213 days 800 166-189 days 700 142-165 days 60a 118-141 days 500 117 days or less Oo ii. However, any employee who retires and receives a pension, or dies, prior to December 1 of the payment year shall still be eligible to receive a longevity payment for that year based upon the pro-ration schedule set forth in paragraph 4 above. SEC°TTON 4: That there shall be allowed for each bus driver the sum o~~U0.00 per year for the acc{uisition of uniforms to be worn while operating a bus for the North Olmsted P•4unicipal Bus Line. Upon the appointment of a new driver, he shall be allowed the sum of $110.00 for uniforms and accessories for the first year of such appointment. Clothing allowance will be not issued to a new driver until 30 full days of employment.
