CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 76 - //~ <br />Page 2. <br />completion of ten (10) years full-time continuous service, after <br />which such employee shall receive 50 of his base annual salary, <br />thereafter until the completion of the fifteenth (15th) year of <br />continuous full-time service, and thereafter 6% of his base annual <br />salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of <br />continuous full-time service, and during each year of full-time service <br />thereafter he shall receive 7% of his base annual salary as longevity <br />increments. <br />SECTION 5: That all full-time employees of the Finance <br />Department s all receive the following holidays off, unless requested <br />to work by the Director of Finance in emergencies, and shall receive <br />the regular rate of pay: New Year's day: Memorial Day; Independence <br />Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; President's Day; the <br />employee's birthday; and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 6: That all full-time employees of the Finance <br />Department s al e entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with <br />the following schedule: <br />Two Weeks (2) vacation after one (1) year full-time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full-time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full-time service <br />Five (5) weeks vacation after twenty (20) years full-time service. <br />SECTION 7: That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby <br />authorize to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, <br />but only in the event the Director of Finance is absent from the City <br />or on vacation. <br />SECTION 8: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to <br />forward a copy o this ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately <br />upon its passage. <br />SECTION 9: That all other ordinances or resolutions, <br />of ordinances or parts or resolztions, inconsistent herewith to <br />provisions of this ordinance, are hereby repealed, especially <br />Ordinance No. 75-159, enacted June 17, 1975, with the effective <br />this ordinance. <br />or parts <br />the <br />date of <br />SECTION 10: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into <br />line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the P~Iayor. <br />PASSED: ~--y~ /9~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ ~ ~ <br />Nora T.
