e ~~ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY: FOR THE ADMINISTRATION TO BE HEADED BY THE MAYOR, AS PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE III, SECTION I THROUGH 5, INCLUSIVE, OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND IN ADDITION THERETO, PROVIDING POSITIONS FOR EMPLOYEES OF THIS DEPARTMENT, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 75-161 ENACTED JUNE 17, 1975, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, in Article III, Section 1 through 5, inclusive, provided that the administrative functions of the City shall be headed by the Mayor, as Chief Executive Officer; and, WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all employees in the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of identification, as to duties performed and remuneration received; and WHEREAS, the Administration employs certain personnel and assistants to carry out the responsibilities of the Administration: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That the Administration of the City of North Olmsted, as prove e or in Article III, Section 1 through 5, inclusive, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted is to be headed by the Mayor, and shall consist of the Mayor; One (1) Director of Public Service; One (1) Defector of Public Safety; One (1) Administrative Assistant; One (1) Building Commissioner; One (1) City Engineer; One (1) Fire Chief; One (1) Secretary to the Mayor; One (1) Secretary to the Director of Public Service; and other part time clerical help as determined by the Mayor. SECTION 2: That retroactive to March 1, 1976, the remuneration of the employees in the Administration of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL CHART ORDINANCE N0. 76 - ~~,2,. :~, j Mayor $21,000.00 Annually Mayor - Effective 1/1/76 22,600.00 Annually Mayor - Effective 1/1/77 24,200.00 Annually Director of Public Service $15,000.00 - 24,043.00 Annually Director of Public Safety 14,000.00 - 20,608.00 Annually Administrative Ass istant 9,630.00 - 14,216.00 Annually which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. The compensation of the City Engineer; the Building Commissioner; the Police Chief; and the Fire Chief shall be set forth in the organ- izational ordinance for their various departments.
