" ~- ~ _ `~~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 76 - ~~,~, <br />Page 2. <br />The compensation for the secretary to the Mayor; the secretary to <br />the Director of Public Service; and all other secretarial and clerical <br />help shall be set forth in the organizational chart for secretarial <br />and clerical help. <br />SECTION 3: That all full-time employees of the Administration <br />Department shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to <br />work by the Mayor in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay: <br />New Year's Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor <br />Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and <br />floating holiday. <br />SECTION 4: That all full-time employees of the Administration <br />Department s-hall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with <br />the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full-time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full-time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full-time service <br />Five (5) weeks vacation after twenty (20) years full-time service <br />SECTION 5: That the purpose of this ordinance is to establish the <br />Administration Department and the salaries to be paid, which shall not <br />in any way be construed as limiting the authority of the Mayor for the <br />City of North Olmsted, as established by the Charter of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 6: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />a copy o t is ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately upon its <br />passage in order that the Director of Finance can pay the compensation, <br />as hereinabove set forth. <br />SECTION 7: That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions in this <br />ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 75-161, enacted June 17, 1975, <br />are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 8: That this ordinance is hereby .declared to be an emergency <br />measure i~ mmec~iately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation <br />and cost of living increases, and further provided it receives the affirm- <br />ative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayo <br />PASSED : „ G[{.L, ~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />G ;~ ~~ <br />Nora T.
