r <br />~, <br />°~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />BY: <br />ORDINANCE N0. 76 - ~~~ <br />L~. _ <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART FOR FULL-TIME SECRETARIES AND CLERK <br />ASSISTANTS AND PART-TIME CLERICAL HELP OF ALL <br />DEPARTb4ENTS FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND <br />ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE <br />EMPLOYEES, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 75-160 <br />ENACTED JUNE 17, 1975, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all employees, <br />both salaried and hourly, of the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted the Organizational Charts for the purpose <br />of identification as to duties performed and remuneration received; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has combined the Secretarial and Clerical positions <br />of all previous departments into one ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, Council agrees that the supervision and work assignments of <br />these employees shall continue to be the responsibility of each department <br />head as in the past: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the compensation for Secretaries shall be paid <br />within t-fie range of <br />$6,020.00 to $10,280..00 Annually <br />$2.89 to $4.94 Per Hour <br />To be determined by the Department Head in the department where the secretar} <br />is employed and the Council of the City of North Olmsted, retroactive to <br />March 1, 1976. <br />SECTION 2: That the compensation for Clerical Assistant II shall <br />be paid~wit in tie range of: <br />$5,257.00 to $8,180.00 Annually <br />$2.53 to $3.93 Per Hour <br />To be determined by the Department Head in the department where the clerks <br />are employed and the Council of the City of North Olmsted, retroactive <br />to March 1, 1976. <br />SECTION 3: The compensation for new employees shall be paid at the <br />rate o~~.00 annually, unless the employee has previous experience <br />which warrants a higher starting wage. <br />SECTION 4: All full-time Secretaries and Clerical Assistants shall <br />be pai o~ n a salary basis. These shall be payable by the Finance <br />Director bi-weekly. <br /> <br />
