This <br />any annual salary <br />the rate of $25.00 <br />help has been <br />and said sum shall be <br />SECTION 6: That the employees shall not be required to work the <br />following ~olic~ays, unless requested to work by their supervisor in an <br />emergency: New Year's Day; Memorial Day, Indpeendence Day, Labor Day, <br />Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, President's Day, the employee's birthday <br />and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 7: That all full-time employees shall be entitled to an <br />annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full-time service, <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full-time service; <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full-time service; <br />Five (5) weeks vacation after twenty (20) years full-time service. <br />SECTION 8: That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward <br />a copy o t~rdinance to all department heads and the Director of Finance <br />for payment of remuneration, as set forth above, immediately upon its <br />passage. <br />SECTION 9: That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions <br />of this ordinance, are hereby repealed, expecially Ordinance No. 75-160 <br />enacted June 17, 1975, with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 10: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure imme lately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety, and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line due to <br />inflation and cost of living increases, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~ ~/f~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ ' <br />Nora T.
