The normal work week for regular full-time <br />foremen in the Treatment Plant, Collection System and Lift <br />Stations will be forty-one and one-quarter (414) hours of <br />work in five (5) days of eight and one-quarter (84) consecutive <br />hours per day, inclusive of one-quarter (4) hour show-up time <br />which may be allowed at the start of each shift, and exclusive <br />of time allowed for meals during the period starting 12:01 A.M, <br />Monday to midnight Sunday. <br />In determining whether a foreman has worked in excess of <br />forty-one and one-quarter (414) hours in any work week, hours <br />on a holiday which the employee did not work but for which <br />he received pay shall be considered to be hours worked. There <br />shall be no pyramiding of overtime. <br />Effective September 1, 1976, foremen will be paid time and <br />one-half (12) of their straight time rates of pay for hours <br />worked in excess of eight and one-quarter (84) in any one work <br />day and time and one-half (1~) of their straight time rate o.f <br />pay for hours worked in excess of forty-one and one-quarter <br />(414) in any one work week. <br />SECTION 6: Employees of the Public Works Division shall be <br />paid their regular rate of pay and shall not be required to work <br />on the following holidays: New Year's Day; President's Day; <br />Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; <br />Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and floating holiday. <br />Employees of the Wastewater Treatment and Collection System of <br />the Public Works Division shall not be required to work on these <br />said holidays unless required to work on said holidays due to a <br />regular posted work schedule, or by the Public Works Commissioner <br />in case of an emergency. <br />SECTION 7: All full-time employees of the Public Works Divi- <br />sion except the Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner, <br />having completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service, <br />as employees of said department or having been transferred from <br />some other department by administrative appointment shall be <br />paid an additional 3~ of their base annual salary, thereafter <br />until completion of ten (10) years full-time continuous service, <br />after which such employee shall receive 4$ of their base annual <br />salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15) year <br />of continuous full-time service, after which said employees shall <br />receive 5~ of their base annual salary until completion of their <br />twentieth (20) year of continuous full-time service, and there- <br />after each year of full-time. service thereafter they shall receive <br />6~ of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />
