SECTION 5. The normal work week for regular full-time foremen in the Treatment Plant, Collection System and Lift Stations will be forty-one and one-quarter (414) hours of work in five (5) days of eight and one-quarter (84) consecutive hours per day, inclusive of one-quarter (4) hour show-up time which may be allowed at the start of each shift, and exclusive of time allowed for meals during the period starting 12:01 A.M, Monday to midnight Sunday. In determining whether a foreman has worked in excess of forty-one and one-quarter (414) hours in any work week, hours on a holiday which the employee did not work but for which he received pay shall be considered to be hours worked. There shall be no pyramiding of overtime. Effective September 1, 1976, foremen will be paid time and one-half (12) of their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in excess of eight and one-quarter (84) in any one work day and time and one-half (1~) of their straight time rate o.f pay for hours worked in excess of forty-one and one-quarter (414) in any one work week. SECTION 6: Employees of the Public Works Division shall be paid their regular rate of pay and shall not be required to work on the following holidays: New Year's Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and floating holiday. Employees of the Wastewater Treatment and Collection System of the Public Works Division shall not be required to work on these said holidays unless required to work on said holidays due to a regular posted work schedule, or by the Public Works Commissioner in case of an emergency. SECTION 7: All full-time employees of the Public Works Divi- sion except the Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner, having completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service, as employees of said department or having been transferred from some other department by administrative appointment shall be paid an additional 3~ of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years full-time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4$ of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15) year of continuous full-time service, after which said employees shall receive 5~ of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous full-time service, and there- after each year of full-time. service thereafter they shall receive 6~ of their base annual salary as longevity increments.
