CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 76 - ~,,,'~ BY: AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES OF THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 76-11 ENACTED FEBRUARY 3, 1976, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee and the Finance Committee have recommended an adjustment in the pay rate of the maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and WHEREAS, Council is desirous of making an adjustment in the compensation for maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus line. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That effective July 1, 1976, employees holding the following positions in the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be paid the salaries and wages as hereinafter determined: General Manager $13,000 to $20,950 annually Superintendent 12,000 to 18,650 annually Supervisor of Operations 10,500 to 16,900 annually Supervisor of Maintenance 10,500 to 16,900 annually Administrative Assistant 8,000 to 12,000 annually Secretary 6,020 to 9,608 annually Mechanic/Equipment Repairman $6.04 per hour to start 6.17 per hour after one year 6.22 per hour after two years 6.34 per hour after three years Mechanic Leader $6.56 per hour to start 6.65 per hour after one year Mechanic Apprentice $5.67 per hour to start 5.83 per hour after one year 5.94 per hour after two years Serviceman $5.55 per hour to start 5.68 per hour after one year 5.82 per hour after two years Extra Labor $2.10 to $3.95 per hour which salaries will be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. The normal work week for regular full-time hourly employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be forty (40) hours. Said work week shall commence at 12:01 a.m. Sunday through 12:00 midnight Saturday. It is recognized that the bus line will be maintained on schedule compatible with efficient and practical transit service seven (7) days a week. It is further recognized that some employees may be assigned to work schedules to accomodate seven (7) day per week service which may of necessity involve overtime work.
