CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 76- 1r By AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES OF THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 75-236 ENACTED NOVEMBER 18, 1975, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee and the Finance Com- mittee have recommended an adjustment in the pay rate of the maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and WHEREAS, Council is desirous of making an adjustment in the compensation for maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That effective February 1, 1976, employees holding the following positions in the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be paid the salaries and wages as hereinafter determined: General Manager Superin tendent Supervisor of Operations Supervisor of Maintenance Administrative Assistant Secretary $13,000 12,000 10,500 10,500 8,000 6,020 to to to to to to $20,950 annually 18,650 annually 16,900 annually 16,900 annually 10,600 annually 9,60$ annually Mechanic-Equipment Repair- man Mechanic Leader Mechanic Apprentice Serviceman Extra Labor $6.04/hour 6.17/hour 6.22/hour 6.34/hour 6.56/hour 6.65/hour 5.67/hour 5.83/hour 5.94/hour 5.55/hour 5.68/hour 5.82/hour 2.10 to $ to start after one year after two years after three years to start after one year to start after one year after two years to start after one year after two years 3.95 per hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. The normal work week for regular full time hourly employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be forty (40) hours. It is recognized that the Bus Line will be manned on schedules compatible to efficient and practical transit service, seven days a week. It is recognized that some employees may be assigned to work schedules to accommodate seven (7) day per week service. Hourly employees will be paid at time and one-half (12) of their straight time rates of pay for hours in excess of forty hou rs worked in any one work week. The normal work week shall start at 2:41 A.M. Monday and end at 2:00 A.M. the suc- ceeding Monday. The North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be the sole judge of the necessity for overtime.
