CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 76- 1r <br />By <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION TO BE PAID <br />TO THE MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES OF THE NORTH OLMSTED <br />MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 75-236 <br />ENACTED NOVEMBER 18, 1975, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee and the Finance Com- <br />mittee have recommended an adjustment in the pay rate of the <br />maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Council is desirous of making an adjustment in the <br />compensation for maintenance employees of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That effective February 1, 1976, employees <br />holding the following positions in the employ of the North <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be paid the salaries and <br />wages as hereinafter determined: <br />General Manager <br />Superin tendent <br />Supervisor of Operations <br />Supervisor of Maintenance <br />Administrative Assistant <br />Secretary <br />$13,000 <br />12,000 <br />10,500 <br />10,500 <br />8,000 <br />6,020 <br />to <br />to <br />to <br />to <br />to <br />to <br />$20,950 annually <br />18,650 annually <br />16,900 annually <br />16,900 annually <br />10,600 annually <br />9,60$ annually <br />Mechanic-Equipment Repair- <br />man <br />Mechanic Leader <br />Mechanic Apprentice <br />Serviceman <br />Extra Labor <br />$6.04/hour <br />6.17/hour <br />6.22/hour <br />6.34/hour <br />6.56/hour <br />6.65/hour <br />5.67/hour <br />5.83/hour <br />5.94/hour <br />5.55/hour <br />5.68/hour <br />5.82/hour <br />2.10 to $ <br />to start <br />after one year <br />after two years <br />after three years <br />to start <br />after one year <br />to start <br />after one year <br />after two years <br />to start <br />after one year <br />after two years <br />3.95 per hour <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance <br />bi-weekly. <br />The normal work week for regular full time hourly employees <br />of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be forty (40) <br />hours. It is recognized that the Bus Line will be manned on <br />schedules compatible to efficient and practical transit service, <br />seven days a week. It is recognized that some employees may be <br />assigned to work schedules to accommodate seven (7) day per <br />week service. Hourly employees will be paid at time and one-half <br />(12) of their straight time rates of pay for hours in excess of <br />forty hou rs worked in any one work week. The normal work week <br />shall start at 2:41 A.M. Monday and end at 2:00 A.M. the suc- <br />ceeding Monday. <br />The North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be the sole judge <br />of the necessity for overtime. <br /> <br />
