CITY OF NORTH OLMSTE~~ ORDINANCE NO. 74 /ll Page 3 SECTION 7: Effective January 1, 1974, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's rate of the hospitalization cost for the unmarried full time employees of the Public Works Division, and in the event any full time employee of the Public Works Division is married or is the head of the family, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, up to maximum of Six A~zndred Fifteen Dollars ($615.00) toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual and up to a maximum of Six Hundred Thirty-Eight and 40/100 Dollars ($638.40) toward the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. The employee will bear the cost of any subsequent increase in the premium for family coverage. SECTION 8: The Assistant Superintendent of Maintenance and the Systems Foreman shall be allowed the sum of One Hundred and Thirty Dollars ($130.00) per year for the acquisition of, or for the cleaning and maintenance of uniforms worn by them in the performance of their duties. SECTION 9: All full time employees of the Public Works Division shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service SECTION 10: That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 73-73, enacted July 17, 1973, and Ordinance No. 74-93, enacted June 18, 1974, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this ordinance. SECTION 11: That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Department of Public Service, to the Public Works Commissioner and the Director of Finance in order that the Director of Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth. SECTION 12: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the position of Chemist, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
