CITY OF NORTH OLMSTE~~ <br />ORDINANCE NO. 74 /ll <br />Page 3 <br />SECTION 7: Effective January 1, 1974, the City of North Olmsted <br />shall pay the full amount, single person's rate of the hospitalization <br />cost for the unmarried full time employees of the Public Works Division, <br />and in the event any full time employee of the Public Works Division <br />is married or is the head of the family, the City of North Olmsted <br />shall pay the full amount, up to maximum of Six A~zndred Fifteen <br />Dollars ($615.00) toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan <br />with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual and up to a maximum of Six Hundred <br />Thirty-Eight and 40/100 Dollars ($638.40) toward the Kaiser Community <br />Health Foundation Plan. The employee will bear the cost of any <br />subsequent increase in the premium for family coverage. <br />SECTION 8: The Assistant Superintendent of Maintenance and the <br />Systems Foreman shall be allowed the sum of One Hundred and Thirty <br />Dollars ($130.00) per year for the acquisition of, or for the cleaning <br />and maintenance of uniforms worn by them in the performance of their <br />duties. <br />SECTION 9: All full time employees of the Public Works Division <br />shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following <br />schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service <br />SECTION 10: That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions inconsistent herewith to the <br />provisions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 73-73, <br />enacted July 17, 1973, and Ordinance No. 74-93, enacted June 18, 1974, <br />are hereby repealed with the effective date of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 11: That the Clerk of Council is hereby instructed to <br />forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Department of Public Service, <br />to the Public Works Commissioner and the Director of Finance in order <br />that the Director of Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabove <br />set forth. <br />SECTION 12: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to provide for the position of Chemist, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PAS SED - /d~ /S~ ~'f~'~ <br />ATTEST: <br />~ ~ <br />V 1~/~%~ <br />NORA T.
