CITY OF NORTH OLMS~~~ <br />ORDINANCE NO. 74 <br />Page 3 <br />emergency exit shall extend from the point of ingress <br />along the drive designated :Eor normal customer ingress <br />and further continue until the emergency exit drive <br />reaches a point where it permits egress from and along <br />any point of the ingress drive to a public street or <br />roadway. The emergency exit shall be kept free and <br />clear of all obstructions and shall be used only as <br />an emergency exit. <br />I. Bowling alleys, dance halls, pool and billiard parlors, skating <br />rinks, indoor theatres, assembly halls or other sport or <br />recreation centers provided the building in which it operates <br />is sufficiently sound insulated to confine effectively the <br />noise to within the building so used. <br />J. Retail poultry business, either as a main use or as an accessory <br />use, including the storage and killing of poultry or game to be <br />sold entirely at retail-upon then premises directly to the ulti- <br />mate consumer, provided that dust, odors, smoke or noise, or the <br />accumulation of refuse or offal is confined to within the building <br />so used, and provided further that the building in which the <br />killing is done is a detached masonry structure having not less <br />than one hundred (100) square feet of floor area and is located <br />at least ten (10) feet from any other building or part thereof <br />on the same lot which is used as a place of human habitation, <br />or a place where food is prepared, placed, kept or sold. <br />Where a masonry building is useii entirely for the handling of <br />poultry, such slaughtering room shall be separated therefrom by <br />a solid masonry wall having between the two rooms only one <br />opening not greater than two feE~t square closed by a self- <br />closing window or door and located not less than four (4) feet <br />above the floor of the main bui:Lding. Such slaughtering room <br />shall be entered only from outs:Lde the building. Such <br />slaughtering room must be for killing, flicking or dressing <br />only and shall be not less than one hundred (100) feet from any <br />residence district or from a loi: occupied by an existing church, <br />a public or private school, a playground, a hospital or a <br />library, nor less than twenty-f:Lve (25) feet from all boundaries <br />of the premises upon which it is located. <br />K. Advertising signs which advertise only the services furnished <br />or products dispensed or sold on the premises and complying <br />with Section 1225.02. <br />L. An accessory use customarily incident to a primary use described <br />in this section." <br />SECTION 2: That Section 1173.0:? as previously adopted, and any <br />other ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are here- <br />by repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of this Council be and she is hereby <br />directed to cause a notice of a Pub:Lic Hearing hereon to be given <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of Article TV of the Charter <br />of this City. <br />SECfiION 4: That after submission of this ordinance to the Planning <br />Commission of the City for its opinion and recommendation, and after <br />public hearing as specified in Section 3 hereof, .and after its passage <br />pursuant to the Charter of this City, ,the Zoning Code of the City of <br />North Olmsted shall be amended as specified in Section 1 hereof. <br />
