CITY OF NORTH OLMS~~~ ORDINANCE NO. 74 Page 3 emergency exit shall extend from the point of ingress along the drive designated :Eor normal customer ingress and further continue until the emergency exit drive reaches a point where it permits egress from and along any point of the ingress drive to a public street or roadway. The emergency exit shall be kept free and clear of all obstructions and shall be used only as an emergency exit. I. Bowling alleys, dance halls, pool and billiard parlors, skating rinks, indoor theatres, assembly halls or other sport or recreation centers provided the building in which it operates is sufficiently sound insulated to confine effectively the noise to within the building so used. J. Retail poultry business, either as a main use or as an accessory use, including the storage and killing of poultry or game to be sold entirely at retail-upon then premises directly to the ulti- mate consumer, provided that dust, odors, smoke or noise, or the accumulation of refuse or offal is confined to within the building so used, and provided further that the building in which the killing is done is a detached masonry structure having not less than one hundred (100) square feet of floor area and is located at least ten (10) feet from any other building or part thereof on the same lot which is used as a place of human habitation, or a place where food is prepared, placed, kept or sold. Where a masonry building is useii entirely for the handling of poultry, such slaughtering room shall be separated therefrom by a solid masonry wall having between the two rooms only one opening not greater than two feE~t square closed by a self- closing window or door and located not less than four (4) feet above the floor of the main bui:Lding. Such slaughtering room shall be entered only from outs:Lde the building. Such slaughtering room must be for killing, flicking or dressing only and shall be not less than one hundred (100) feet from any residence district or from a loi: occupied by an existing church, a public or private school, a playground, a hospital or a library, nor less than twenty-f:Lve (25) feet from all boundaries of the premises upon which it is located. K. Advertising signs which advertise only the services furnished or products dispensed or sold on the premises and complying with Section 1225.02. L. An accessory use customarily incident to a primary use described in this section." SECTION 2: That Section 1173.0:? as previously adopted, and any other ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are here- by repealed. SECTION 3: That the Clerk of this Council be and she is hereby directed to cause a notice of a Pub:Lic Hearing hereon to be given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of Article TV of the Charter of this City. SECfiION 4: That after submission of this ordinance to the Planning Commission of the City for its opinion and recommendation, and after public hearing as specified in Section 3 hereof, .and after its passage pursuant to the Charter of this City, ,the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted shall be amended as specified in Section 1 hereof.
