CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED OPJ)INANCE N0. 74- 9g e,~~~~ AN ~RDINAidCE ESTABLISHING THE ORG4NIZATIONAL CHART FOR THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLNISTED, AND SETTING FORTH THE COMPENSATION Tq BE PAID EMPLOYEES THEREOF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 74-75, ENACTED MAY 21, 1974, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Council wishes to establish an Organizational Chart set- ting forth the number of employees within the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted; and WHEREAS, Council wishes to set forth the remuneration of all employees in the Engineering Department, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the complement of the North Olmsted Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: City Engineer First Assistant Engineer Assistant Engineer Party Chief Survey Party Crew (3) Chief Inspector Inspectors (3) Draftsmen Engineering Aides (2) Secretary Clerk Consultants Part-time Inspectors (as Summer Help (as needed) (position expires 7/31/74) needed) Section 2. That retroactive to January 1, 1974, the remuneration of employees in the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: City Engineer First Asst Engineer Assistant Engineer Party Chief Survey Crew Chief Inspector Inspectors Draftsmen Engineering Aids Part-time Inspector (as needed) Summer Help (as needed) $14,000 to $21,000 Annually $18,0 00 Annually $11,000 to $L6,275 Annually $4.40 to $6.30 Per Hour $2.94 to $4.60 Per Hour $4,40 to $6.30 Per Hour $3.40 to $5.45 Per Hour $3,60 to $5.45 Per Hour $2.94 to $4.60 Per Hour $3.21 to $4.40 Per Hour $1.71 to $3.10 Per Hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. Section 3. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, all full time employees of the Engineering Department having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years of full time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service, after which said employee shall receive 5% of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (ZO) year of continuous full time service, and thereafter each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. x ,ti ~ ~~
