That all full time employees of the Engineering <br />Department shall receive the following holidays off, unless requested to <br />work by the Mayor in emergencies: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence <br />Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; Presidents' Day and the <br />employee's birthday. <br />Section 5. That all full time employees of the Engineering <br />Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the <br />following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service <br />Section 6. Ef~E~etiVe January. ~., 1974 the Ci:tg of North Olmsted <br />shall pay the full amount, single person`s rate of the hospitalization cost for <br />unmarried full time employees of the North Olmsted Engineering Department, and in the <br />event any full time employee of the North Olmsted Engineering Department is <br />married or is the head of the family, the City of PZorth Olmsted shall <br />pay the full amount, up to a maximum of Six Hundred Fifteen ($615.00) Dollars <br />toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and 1`4edical Mutual <br />and up to a maximum of Six Hundred Thirty--Eight and 40/100 ($638.40) Dollars <br />toward the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. The employee will bear the <br />cost of any subsequent increase in the premium for family coverage. <br />Section 7. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to <br />forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance in order that <br />the Director of Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth. <br />Section 8. That all other ordinances or resolution, or <br />parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the <br />provision of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 74-75, enacted <br />May 21, 1974, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 9. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact of the <br />immediate necessity of adjusting with the requirements of the various <br />jobs.
