CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO . 7 ~ - ,~iZ.. <br />BY:~ <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICE AND PROPERTIES <br />SECTION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION OF THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SEP.VICE OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, SETTING FOP.TH THE PERSONNEL <br />NEEDED AND ESTABLISHING THE REMUNERATION <br />FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID SECTION AND RE- <br />PEALING ORDINANCE N0. 73-74, ENACTED <br />JULY 17, 1973, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for ail employees, <br />both salaried and hourly, of the City of Forth Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted the Organizational Chart in order to <br />establish future personnel. needs, as the needs of the City of North Olmsted <br />increase due to population expansion. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OP.DAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. There is hereby created a Public GJorks Division which shall be <br />supervised by one (1) Public Works Commissioner who shall report and be answer- <br />able directly to the Director of Public Service. The duties of the Public Works Com- <br />missioner shall be as determined by the Director of Public Service. He shall <br />supervise one (1) Secretary and all other personnel as set forth hereinafter. <br />Section Z. The Public Works Commission shall be responsible for all <br />operations in the Public Works Division and all superintendents shall report <br />directly to the Public Works Commissioner. <br />Section 3. The Superintendents of the Public Service and Properties Section <br />shall be in charge of the Service Department, the Vehicle Maintenance Department <br />and the Building Maintenance Department. He shall serve under 8.nd report directly <br />to the Public Works Commissioner and the Service Director. <br />Section 4. The complement of the Public Service and Properties Section <br />shall include the Service Department, the Vehicle Maintenance Department and <br />the Building Maintenance Department and shall be as follows: <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION <br />1. Public Works Commissioner <br />A. Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner - one (1) <br />B. Superintendent of Public Service and Properties Section - one (1) <br />1. Service Department <br />A. Four (4) Service Foremen <br />(a) ~enty (20) Class A Laborers <br />(b) Twenty-six (26) Laborers classified as B and C <br />(c) One (1) Clerk Typist <br />(~) Summer and part-time help as needed <br />
