That retroactive to January 1, 1974, the compensation to be paid to the following employees in the Service Department, of the Public Works Division shall be as follows: Public Works Commissioner Superintendent of Public Service and Properties Section Vehicle Maintnenace Department Foreman Service Department Foreman $12,000.00 to $17,000.00 Annually 5.00 to 7.10 Per Hour 4.75 to 6.40 Per Hour 4.40 to 6.08 Per Hour which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finanee. Section 6. Employees of the Public Works Division shall be paid their regular rate of pay and shall not be required to work on the following holidays: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Presidents' Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day, and the employee's birthday. Employees of the move department of the Public Works Division shall not be required to work on the aforesaid holidays unless required 'Go work on said holidays due to a regular posted work schedule or by the Public Works Commissioner in case of an emergency. Section 7. All full time employees of the Public Works Division except the Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner, having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees of said department, or having been transferred from some other department by administaative appointment, shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years full time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive 4°0 of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service, after which said employee shall receive 5% of their base annual salary until completion of their twentieth (20) year of con- tinuous full time service, and thereafter each year of full time service they shall receive 6% o~ their base annual salary as longevity increments. Section 8. Effective January 1, 1974, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's rate of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Public Works Division, and in the event any full time employee of the Public Works Division is married or is the head of the family, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, up to maximum of Six Hundred Fifteen ($615.00) Dollars toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual and up to a maximum of Six Hundred Thirth-Eight and 40/100 ($638.40) Dollars toward the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. The employee will bear the cost of any subsequent increase in the premium for family coverage. Section 9. The Service and the Vehicle Maintenance Foreman shall be allowed the sum of One Hundred and Thirty ($130.00) Dollars per year for the aquisition of, or for the cleaning and maintenance of uniforms worn by them in the performance of their duties.
