CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 74 - 90 <br />r: <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART FOR THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, SETTING FORTH THE COMPEN- <br />SATION TO BE PAID EMPLOYEES OF THE FINANCE <br />DEPARTMENT, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 73-70, <br />ENACTED JULY 17, 1973, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council of the City of North Olmsted has established an <br />Organizational Chart for the Finance Department of the City of North <br />Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to set forth the remuneration to be paid <br />employees of the Finance Department, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has combined the Organizational Chart of the <br />Finance Department and compensation to be paid to the employees of <br />the Finance Department including the Municipal Income Tax Division <br />of the Finance Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINID BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the complement of the Finance Department, and <br />all its divisions shall be as follows: <br />Director of Finance <br />Director of Finance's Secretary (Assistant Finance Director) <br />Clerical - Finance <br />Income Tax Administrator <br />Clerical Help in Income Tax Division <br />SECTION 2: That retroactive to January 1, 1974, the remuneration <br />of employees in the Finance Department of the City of North Olmsted, <br />including all its divisions shall be as follows: <br />Director of Finance <br />Director of Finance's Secretary <br />(Assistant Finance Director <br />Income Tax Division Administrator <br />$14,500.00 Annually <br />$6,552.00 to $9,000.00 Annually <br />$8,000.00 to $14,000.00 Annually <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. <br />SECTION 3: The secretarial and clerical help of the Finance <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity <br />increment, the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be <br />payable over and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid to <br />said secretary or clerical help, at the rate of $25.00 for each and <br />every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually <br />employed by the City of North Olmsted, and said sum shall be paid on <br />each anniversary date of employment. <br />SECTION 4: That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, <br />that the Income Tax Administrator having completed five (5) years of <br />full time continuous service, as an employee of said department, shall <br />be paid an additional 3/ of his base annual salary, thereafter until <br />completion of ten (10) years full time continuous service, after which <br />such employee shall receive 4/ of his base annual salary, thereafter <br />until the completion of the fifteenth (15) year of continuous full <br />time service, and thereafter 5% of his base annual salary until after <br /> <br />
