t <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 74 - 9p <br />Page 2 <br />the completion of the twentieth (20) year of continuous full time <br />service, and during each year of full time service thereafter he <br />shall receive 6/ of his base annual salary as longevity<increments. <br />SECTION 5: That all full time employees of the Finance Department <br />shall receive the following holidays off, unless requested:. to work by <br />the Director of Finance in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate <br />of pay: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; <br />Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; Presidents' Day and the employee's <br />birthday. <br />SECTION 6: That the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full <br />amount, up to a maximum of $650.64, for the hospitalization insurance <br />cost of all full time employees of the Finance Department with either <br />the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plan or the Kaiser <br />Community Health Foundation Plan. <br />The Provision of Section 6 excludes the elected Director of <br />Finance of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 7: That all full time employees of the Finance Depart- <br />ment shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the <br />following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service <br />SECTION 8: That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby <br />authorized to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, but <br />only in the event the Director of Finance is absent from the City or <br />on vacation. <br />SECTION 9: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />a copy of this ordinance ~o the Director of Finance immediately upon <br />its passage. <br />SECTION 10: That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the <br />provisions of this ordinance, are hereby repealed, especially Ordinance <br />No. 73-70, enacted July 17, 1973, with the effective date of this <br />ordinance. <br />SECTION 11: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them <br />into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED• <br />ATTEST: <br />NORA T.
