>, <br />~. ,tl~` . ~ "t.. <br />''~ ~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 74 - <br />Page 2 <br />519.04 Assessment of Costs <br />When ever the City is required to carry out the provisions of 519.03 <br />hereof, the City shall give five (5) days notice by regular mail to <br />the owner of such lot or parcel of land, at his last known address, <br />to pay the cost of such trimming or removal. The notice shall be <br />accompanied by a statement of the amount of cost incurred. If the <br />same is not paid within thirty (30) days after the mailing of such <br />notice, then such amount shall be certif ied to the County Auditor <br />for collection the same as other taxes and assessments are collected. <br />519.99 Penalty <br />Whoever violates any provisions of this Chapter shall be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not more than Fifty <br />Dollars ($50.00) for the first offense, and not more than One Hundred <br />Dollars ($100.00) for each subsequent offense. <br />SECfiION 2: That any other ordinance or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to protect the health and safety of the <br />residents of the City of North Olmsted by eliminating weeds, tall <br />grass, and overgrown trees and shrubs, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br />to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: 1~ <br />ATTEST: <br />NORA T.HILL, CLERK OF COUNCIL FRANCIS J. 0 <br />APPRO ED : G /~ 1 ~Z <br />RAL H E CHRTSTMAN, MAYOR <br />IL <br />
