That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that <br />all full time employees of the Fire Department having completed <br />five (5) years of full time continuous service, as employees of <br />said department, shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual <br />salary, thereafter until completion of the tenth (10) year of con- <br />tinuous full time service, after which such employee shall receive <br />4/ of their base anxaual salary, thereafter until the completion <br />of the fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service, and <br />thereafter 5/ of their base annual salary until the completion <br />of the twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service, and <br />during each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive <br />6/ of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />C. In computing length of service for the purpose of making <br />payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit <br />shall be given for part-time service, but such limitation is only <br />for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion <br />for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other <br />benefits which may be due for part-time service as employees in <br />the Safety Department. <br />D. In addition to the regular base salary plus increments and <br />other wage increase, all regular employees of the Fire Department, <br />including officers, shall on their original appointment and during <br />the first calendar year of their appointment receive $300.00 <br />clothing allowance, and shall during each calendar year thereafter <br />receive a clothing allowance of $300.00 to be determined and <br />disbursed by and with the approval of the Fire Chief of the Department. <br />E. With the exception of secretarial and clerical employees, <br />the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, up to a maximum <br />of $650.64, for the hospitalization insurance cost of all full time <br />employees of the North Olmsted Dire Department with either the Blue <br />Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plan or the Kaiser Community <br />Health Foundation Plan. <br />F. That all full time employees of the Fire Department shall <br />be entitled to certain holidays during the year and shall not be <br />required to work on those certain holidays, unless scheduled to <br />work by the Fire Chief. In the event the employee works on one of <br />the following holidays, the employee shall receive another day off <br />from work to replace the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays <br />are as follows: New Year's Day; Presidents Day; Memorial Day; <br />Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christman Day; the <br />employee's birthday and the employee's personal use day. <br />G. That all full time employees of the Fire Department shall <br />be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following <br />schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />
