CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 75-220 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES OF THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 75-62, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. $13,000 to $19,800 Annually 12,000 to 17,600 Annually 10,500 to 15,950 Annually 10,500 to 15,950 Annually 8,00 to 10,(310 Annually` $ 6,020 to 9,608 Annually $5.71/hour to start $5.83/hour after one year $5.88/hour after two years $5.99/hour after three years $6.20/hour to start $6.29 after one year $5.36/hour to start $5.51/hour after one year $5.61/hour after two years $5.25/hour to start $5.37/hour after one year $5.50/hour after two years $2.10 to $3.95 per hour which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. A. All full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees of said bus line shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary until they have completed their tenth (10) year of continuous full time service. After completing their tenth (10) and prior to completion of their fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service, they shall be paid 4% of their base annual salary. After completion of their fifteenth (15) year and prior to completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service, trey shall be paid 5% of their base annual salary. After completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service arrd thereafter, they shall be paid 6% of their base annual salary. These pay- ments shall be longevity increments and shall be paid and computed by the Finance Department of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. B. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time services ,but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. C. That mechanics and other employees in the garage of the North WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee and the Finance Committee have recommended an adjustment in the pay rate of the maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and WHEREAS, Council is desirous of making an adjustment in the compensa- tion for maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: Section 1: That effective November 3, 1975, employees holding the follow- ing positions in the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be paid the salaries and wages as hereinafter determined: General Manager Superintendent Supervisor of Operations Supervisor of Maintenance ~d~~inistrative Assistant Secretary Mechanic - Equipment Repairman Mechanic Leader Mechanic Apprentice Serviceman Extra Labor
