y <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 75-220 <br />Page 2 <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be allowed the sum of One Hundred Thirty- <br />Five (135.00) Dollars per year for the cleaning and maintenance of uniforms <br />worn by them in the performance of their duties in the North Olmsted Muni- <br />cipal Bus Line Garzge. <br />D. That all maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line shall be entitled certain holidays during the year and shall not <br />be required to work on these holidays, unless scheduled to work by the <br />General Manager. In the event the employee works on one of the following <br />holidays, the employee shall receive another day off from work to replace <br />the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays are as follows: New Year's <br />Day; Memorial Day; I dependence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas <br />Day; Presidents' Day; and the employee's birthday. <br />E. That all full time maintenanee employees of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance <br />with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7),years full time <br />service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) ,years full time <br />service. <br />F. Effective November 3, 1975, the City of North Olmsted shall pay <br />the full amount, single person's rate, of the hospitalization cost for <br />unmarried full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus L~ne, <br />and in the event any full time employee of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line is married or is the head of the family, the City of North Olmsted <br />shall pay the full amount toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan <br />with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual or the full amount toward the Kaiser <br />Community Health Foundation Plan. The employee will bear the cost of any <br />subsequent increase in the premium for family coverage. <br />That excluding secretarial and clerical employees in the North <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, all full time employees of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line shall be furnished, at no cost to the employees, acci- <br />dent and health insurance, which insurance shall pay the employee in the <br />event he is unable to work as a result of an acci.~ent or ill health, the <br />sum of Forty Dollars ($40.00) per week. Said insurance shall also have <br />accidental death and death benefits with the principal sum of Fifteen <br />Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00). <br />SECTION Z: That Ordinance No. 75-62 and any other ordinances or <br />parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed <br />to forward copies of this ordinance to the Finance Director, the Service <br />Director and the General Manager of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />SECTION 4: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for the fufither .reason that. it is immediately neces- <br />sary to provide for the continuity of services of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: j~~i .~t.u./.S, ~/ 97J..~ <br />ATTEST: ~~ ' <br />~;~ .~ ~~~ <br />Nora T.
