<br />1133.16 Powers of Council <br />Upon the presentation to it by the Clerk of any ruling, <br />determination or order of the Board, Council may, by motion, with <br />the concurrence of a majority of its members eligible to vote, <br />approve, disapprove, modify, alter, amend, add to, delete, <br />affirm or reverse any such ruling, determination or order or <br />remand the same to the Board for further action and review, <br />subject to such instructions and conditions as it may imposeQ <br />Upon such action, the motion of Council shall have the same <br />force and effect as the original ruling, determination and <br />order of the Board reviewed by Council. If Council fails to <br />take any such action within thirty (30) days of the date of <br />the issuance of such ruling, determination or order of the <br />Board, its power in respect thereto as provided in tris <br />section shall cease and terminate. <br />1133.17 Expiration <br />Any ruling, determination or order of the Board of Zoning <br />Appeals shall expire one year from the effective date of such <br />ruling, determination or order unless: <br />1. Within said period provisions of said variance of <br />permit have been acted upon and placed in effect. <br />2. The Board, at the time of the original grant or <br />allowance of such variation or permit shall have <br />granted a longer period in which event the expir- <br />ation thereof shall be on the date specified. <br />3. The Board grants an extension of time at a later date. <br />-30- <br /> <br />
