The City shall be relieved of its obli- <br />gation to maintain Scheduled Service during such periods as <br />its performance hereunder is prohibited by any concerted re- <br />fusal of its employees to work or any strike of any kind or <br />character of its or others' employees, including a so-called <br />wildcat strike or slowdown or stoppage, any riot, civil <br />strife or disturbance, closing of streets, roads, routes or <br />bridges, inclement caeather, destruction by any means or <br />methods of any of its property necessary for the performance <br />hereof, flood, fire, act of God or any other cause beyond <br />its control. <br />13. Term. The term of this Agreement shall <br />commence on the 5th day of October, 1975, and expire on the <br />Sth day of October, 1977, unless extended by mutual agree- <br />went of the parties hereto evidenced in a writing signed by <br />each of such parties. <br />I~t is contemplated by the parties that the Auth- <br />ority may eventually assume operation, ownership, and <br />control of the City's scheduled bus service, and that this <br />matter shall be a subject of negotiation bet~~;een the parties <br />before the expiration of the term of this Agreement. <br />14. Books and Recorus. The City shall keep full <br />and complete books of account, including supporting documenta- <br />tion reflecting all of its transit operations, including <br />without limitation the. Scheduled Service required hereunder. <br />These records shall be kept on a consistent basis from one <br />period to another. No charges in accounting principles or <br />procedures steall be made by the City without the written <br />consent of the Authority.
